Smart Progress ma przyczynić się do wzmocnienia potencjału i zaangażowania podmiotów z ISP, na rzecz przygotowania, realizacji i komercjalizacji projektów badawczo – rozwojowych. Zapewni także dostęp do wiedzy, wsparcia eksperckiego i rozwój nowych kompetencji wśród podmiotów z ISP. Projekt stanowi także podstawę do poszukiwania i ewentualnego wyłonienia nowych inteligentnych specjalizacji bądź zweryfikowania zakresów przedmiotowych obecnych ISP w oparciu o najnowsze dane, analizy i przewidywania trendów rynkowych.

- devices, techniques and systems for monitoring and clearing up the marine environment and its hinterland
- innovative ways and technologies for utilising unique natural compounds produced by marine organisms
- technologies, devices and processes to improve the safety and efficiency of transport and logistics services in ports, their hinterlands and forelands
